Ronald Morton formed the Morton Law Firm in 1997. Morton Law Firm is a full-service law firm located in Clinton, Mississippi. The firm provides its clients with the highest quality representation in the areas of commercial transactions, business planning, general litigation, personal injury litigation, divorce and family law, asset protection panning, medicaid planning, estate planning, and elder law. The firm's particular emphasis is on providing quality legal services in a cost-effective, efficient and results-oriented manner. We strive to produce the highest quality representation, bearing in mind at all times the economic, business, and personal concerns and objectives of our clients.
The Morton Law Firm provides quality, timely, and aggressive legal representation to its clients at a fair and predictable fee. Through its implementation and reliance on state of the art law office technology, the firm is able to provide efficient and timely service to its clients at accurately estimated costs. In fact, most matters are handled by the firm on a flat fee or percentage basis contingent upon results, giving the client certainty and predictability in their anticipated expense. The firm also frequently utilizes blended rates, value billing, and other progressive billing structures, rather than the traditional reliance on an hourly billing rate. Hourly billing encourages firms to be inefficient, and to delay completion of work, all to the clientís detriment. At the Morton Law Firm, we don't focus on hourly billing; our focus is on results. The firm represents both individual and corporate clients of all sizes in civil matters throughout Mississippi and Louisiana. The primary focus of the firm is personal injury and elder law.
